April 25, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of postal and courier companies in Azerbaijan increased in 2023.

ABC.AZ informs that according to official statistics, the service earned 111.94 million manats last year.

This is 13.7% higher than the 97.34 million manats registered in 2022.

According to postal and courier services, 297.5 tons of cargo were transported by air alone in 2023 (38.7% more than in 2022 - 214.5 tons).

However, the number of employees employed in this sector decreased by 4.2% year-on-year to 6,174 people, the State Statistics Committee informs. The Payroll Service continues to work in the transport sector with the lowest indicator. The average monthly salary for this service grew by 22.9% up to 530.3 manats per year.
