April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Tax benefits are being established in connection with the holding in Azerbaijan of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the draft amendments to the Tax Code, considered in the 1st reading at today's parliament meeting.

According to the draft document, income of non-resident individuals involved in the supply of goods, works and services in Azerbaijan in connection with the 2024th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Azerbaijan, on the basis of a supporting document (body) established by the relevant executive authority In 2024, starting from March 1, they will be exempt from income tax for 9 months.
