March 27, Fineko/abc.az. Trading Economics, the portal of international economic statistics, predicts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan in 2024 at the level of 5%, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the economic portal.

According to forecasts, the average annual inflation in the 1st quarter is expected to be 1.8%, at the end of the 2nd quarter - 4.4%, the 3rd quarter - 5.3%, the 4th quarter - 5%.

Over Jan-Feb 2024, consumer prices in the country increased by 1.3% compared with the 2023 same term.

The Ministry of Economy forecasts annual inflation in the country at 5.3% in 2024 and 4.9% in 2025.

According to UN forecasts, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan this year will be 5.9%, and in 2025 it will decrease to 3.9%.

The IMF forecasts that the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will decrease to 4.7% this year, and in 2025 it will amount to 5%.

According to World Bank’s estimates, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan will be 5.8% in 2024 and 5.2% in 2025.

Dutch company ING Group forecasts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 4.4% in 2024 and 5.5% in 2025.
