March 15, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Friday’ trading after a rise following the previous trading.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange fell by $0.22 (0.26%) to $85.20 per barrel by 09:33. Following the trading on March 14, Brent crude futures for May rose by $1.39 (1.65%) to $85.42 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:33 dropped by $0.18 (0.22%) to $81.08 per barrel. Following the trading on March 14, the price of WTI oil futures for April grew by $1.54 (1.93%) to $81.26 per barrel.

Since the beginning of the week, oil has risen in price by about 4% due to analysts' forecasts on increase in fuel consumption this year.
