March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2024, industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan produced industrial output for 10.2 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that in the mining sector, commercial oil production decreased by 6.7%, and commercial gas production increased by 4.0%.

In the manufacturing sector, the production of leather and leather goods, shoes grew 2.2-fold, production of metallurgical products 75.9-fold, pharmaceutical products 51-fold, furniture 37.9-fold, clothing 37.1-fold, building materials 35.1-fold, installation and repair of machinery and equipment 34-fold, production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers - by 30.7%, beverages by 28.9%, rubber and plastic mass products by 28.4%, electrical equipment by 18.3%, production of computers, electronic and optical products by 16.2%, chemical industry products by 14.7%, textile industry by 6.7%, petroleum products by 6.6%, food products by 3.9%, paper and cardboard by 1.8%; tobacco production decreased by 0.6%, finished metal products by 2.4%, printing products by 4.2%, machinery and equipment by 15.2%, woodworking and wood products by 38.1%, other industrial products by 47.9%, vehicles by 50.4%.

In the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, production volumes declined by 7.9%, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and recycling grew by 22.7%.
