March 13, Fineko/abc.az. As of March 1, 2024, 87.3% of 1,531,963 taxpayers registered in the country were individuals, while 12.7% - legal entities and other organizations.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that compared with the same term of 2023, the total number of taxpayers increased by 7.8%, including the number of individuals — by 7.8% (86.6% of the total growth), and the number of legal entities — by 8.3% (13.4%).

The share of legal entities in the total number of taxpayers for the analyzed period made up 12.7%.

The number of commercial establishments reached 178,323 and increased by 9% against the comparable period.

Over Jan-Feb 2024, 2.62 commercial institutions were registered by the state, of which 1,857 were enterprises with local investments, and 205 with foreign ones.

The share of e-registration of registered domestic investment limited liability companies for this period amounted to 85.7%.

In two months of this year, 200 local investment LLCs were registered using the new registration method (PIN + mobile phone number).

The share of this method in the total registration was 9.5%, and in the registration of LLCs with local investments - 10.3%.
