March 11, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading after a drop following the past week.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange declined by $0.49 (0.60%) to $81.59 per barrel by 09:32. Following the trading on March 8, Brent crude futures for May fell by $0.88 (1.06%) to $82.08 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:32 decreased by $0.53 (0.68%) to $77.48 per barrel. Following the trading on March 8, the price of WTI oil futures for April dropped by $0.92 (1.17%) to $78.01 per barrel.

Over the past week, Brent crude oil fell by 1.76% and WTI by 2.45%.
