Oil price goes down, and Brent is at $81.28 a barrel

February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades continue falling in Thursday’s trading after a drop the day before amid growth of raw materials stocks in the U.S.

The price of April’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange declined by $0.32 (0.39%) to $81.28 per barrel by 09:33. Following the trading on February 14, Brent crude futures for April fell by $1.17 (1.41%) to $81.60 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:33 dropped by $0.33 (0.43%) to $76.31 per barrel. Following the trading on February 14, the price of March’s WTI oil futures fell by $1.23 (1.58%) to $76.64 per barrel.

Commercial oil reserves in the U.S. grew by 12.02 million barrels last week, gasoline reserves decreased by 3.66 million barrels and distillates by 1.92 million barrels.
