February 9, Fineko/abc.az. Gas production from deep-water reservoirs at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea may begin in early 2025ç ABC.AZ quotes Jim O'Leary, BP's vice president for wells in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye.

He added that drilling of the first production well is to begin in the 2nd half of this year as part of plans to extract gas from deep reservoirs at the ACG.

Jim O'Leary underlined that the drilling of the appraisal well was successfully completed within the mentioned project last year.
