ABC.AZ reports that it became known that company's profit declined by 50%. Its earnings were affected by lower oil and gas prices and lower margins at refineries.

In addition, BP's profit in the 4th quarter of 2023 totaled $2.9 billion (37.8% less versus Q4 of 2022).

The company announced that it will buy back shares for $3.5 billion in the 1st half of this year.
