February 5, Fineko/abc.az. The president of the shareholder company of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) in Poland has been replaced.
ABC.AZ reports that Božena Knipfelberg has been appointed the president at Sarmatia LLC, operating in Poland. She replaced Paweł Wysocki in this position.
The main activities of Sarmatia LLC, founded in 2004, are development of a feasibility study for construction of a new corridor for transportation of oil from the Caspian Sea to Europe through Georgia, Ukraine, Poland and Azerbaijan by extending the Odessa-Brody pipeline, exploration and development of new oil and gas fields, as well as development of new fields oil and gas onshore, construction of various facilities at sea and the laying of pipelines.
SOCAR's share in the company is 27%.
