January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azera Toxumçuluq LLC, a resident of the Sabirabad Industrial Quarter under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency, plans to start production of high-quality (F1) hybrid seeds in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Ramil Zeynalov, the director of the Planning & Supply Department of the company.

He added that the start of the production of hybrid seeds is scheduled for this year. Currently, seed cleaning, sorting, spraying and packaging are carried out on the basis of orders. And starting from this year, the company will plant high-quality hybrid sunflower and corn seeds on 1,225 hectares in Sarkhanbeyli village of Sabirabad district. These seeds will then be packaged at the factory. Although these seeds are intended for the domestic market of the country, if there is demand, they will be exported to Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Starting from this year, Azera Toxumçuluq LLC will also carry out alternate sowing of wheat, barley, alfalfa and cotton seeds.
