January 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 3,602 tons of carrots from foreign countries for $1.266 million for Jan-Nov 2023.

The indicator is in value terms by $824,000 (or 2.9-fold) more and in quantitative terms — by 2,340 tons (or 2.9-fold) more against Jan-Nov 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Over Jan-Nov 2022, the country imported 1,262 tons of carrots for $442,500. The import price for 1 ton of carrots this year was $352, and last year - $351. Thus, the import price increased by $1 last year.
