January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 2,819 tons of cotton seeds for $8.346 million for Jan-Oct 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Oct 2022, this is by $243,100 or 3% more in value terms and by 155 tons or 5.2% less in quantity.

From January to October 2022, Azerbaijan imported 2,974 tons of cotton seeds for $8,103 million.

The cost of one ton of cotton seeds in 2023 was $2,961, and in 2022 - $2,725.

Thus, the import price of one ton of cotton seeds grew by $236 or 8.7% during the year.
