December 21, Fineko/abc.az. To date, products worth 3.3 bn manats have been exported from the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zone Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy).

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on his account on social network X.

"Today is the 12th anniversary of the creation of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, the first industrial park in our country, created by order of President Ilham Aliyev. During this period, the results of park's activities have made significant contribution to diversification of our economy, development of the non-oil sector, increased employment, organization of innovative production and reduced dependence on imports. To date, about 5.8 bn manats have been invested in the park, sales of 9.5 bn manats carried out, and more than 6,600 permanent jobs created," minister’s post says.
