December 14, Fineko/abc.az. Germany imported 3,600 tons of peeled hazelnuts from Azerbaijan for Jan-Oct 2023 (1.9-fold more versus Jan-Oct 2022).

ABC.AZ reports that this follows from the data of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Destatis).

In monetary terms, deliveries increased 1.7-fold for Jan-Oct 2023, up to 19.6 million euro.

In October, Azerbaijan exported 338 tons of these products to Germany (3.2-fold more year-on-year). In value terms, exports also grew 3.2-fold and reached 2 million euro.

According to Destatis, in 2022, Germany increased imports of peeled hazelnuts from Azerbaijan by 3.7% compared with 2021, to 2,400 tons. In value terms, deliveries during the reporting period grew by 2.6%, to 14.3 million euro.
