December 13, Fineko/abc.az. It is an undeniable fact that there is gender inequality in some areas of business and entrepreneurship, ABC.AZ quotes Bahar Muradova, chairwoman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children.

She noted that sufficient steps have been taken within the gender equality and protection of women's rights in Azerbaijan.

"Decisive steps are always being taken towards empowerment of women. Certain projects are being created, aimed at creating business entities for women," she said.

Muradova added that there are 269,320 women entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan.
