Customers spent most of all money on these products for Jan-Nov - List

December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 11 months, 51.7% of customers’ money in the retail chain were spent on foods, 4.2% on beverages and tobacco products, 14.7% on textiles, clothing and shoes, 5.5% on gasoline and diesel, 4.9% on electrical goods and for the purchase of furniture, 2.2% on pharmaceutical products and medical supplies, 1.1% on computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products, 15.7% on other non-food products.

The cost of goods sold by business entities of the non-governmental sector for Jan-Nov 2023 increased in real terms by 3.7% compared with the 2022 same term and made up 99.7% of the total retail turnover, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Compared with Jan-Nov 2022, retail trade turnover for Jan-Nov 2023 increased by 3.0% on enterprises in real terms, by 3.7% on individual entrepreneurs and by 4.1% on markets and fairs.

One person of the population bought on average for 459.2 manats per month in the retail chain, including 256.8 manats for foods, beverages and tobacco products, and 202.4 manats for non-food products.
