December 7, Fineko/abc.az. On December 6, at an event for investors, McDonald's fast food chain presented an expansion plan for the coming years.

ABC.AZ report that by 2027, the company is going to open 10,000 new outlets worldwide — thus, their number will grow by 25%, to 50,000. This is the largest increase in the number of establishments in the history of McDonald's in such a short period of time.

The company also announced its intention to increase the number of customers registered in the loyalty system and using it at least once every 90 days, from the current 150 million to 250 million.

The company expects to increase annual sales revenue to loyalty system participants from $20 billion to $45 billion.

McDonald's revenue resumed growth after decline last year, in the third quarter it grew by 13.6%, amounting to $6.7 billion.
