November 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 10 months of this year, electricity generation in Azerbaijan grew by 278.5 million kWh compared with Jan-Oct 2023 up to 24.032 billion kWh.

ABC.AZ reports that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov informed about this in his account on social network X.

"According to operational data for Jan-Oct 2023, electricity production grew by 278.5 million kWh versus Jan-Oct 2022 and reached 24.03 billion kWh, including 2.357 billion kWh of exports and 190.1 million kWh of imports," the report says.

From January to October, 22.213 billion kWh of electricity was generated at thermal power plants, including 1.819 million kWh of electricity from renewable sources, including water.
