October 23, Fineko/abc.az. Russia is to begin gas supplies to China via the Far Eastern route no later than 2027, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Gazprom’s head Alexey Miller.

"We’ve signed a new agreement, which has entered into force, on the construction of a gas pipeline from the Far East. This is another plus of 10 bcm of gas to 38 bcm that we have determined by supply of the Power of Siberia. The deadline is 2027 - the start of deliveries via the Far Eastern route," Miller said.

Miller noted that after reaching the supply of 38 bcm through the Power of Siberia in 2025, the Chinese side is considering the possibility of increasing Russian gas imports through this pipeline.
