Mikayil Jabbarov unveils investments in economy of Azerbaijan for 9 years

October 20, Fineko/abc.az. There is improvement in the business environment and investors' expectations in Azerbaijan. This became known after the results of surveys conducted by international organizations. 

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov informs about this in article "Azerbaijan: the winner state with strong economic potential" published in newspaper "Azerbaijan". In the article, the minister noted that total volume of investments in the country's economy for the period from 2003 to 2022 amounted to $310.4 billion, while $154.1 billion - foreign investments.

"If in 2002 investments in the economy amounted to $2.8 billion, then in 2022 this figure reached $17.1 billion. In the period from 2003 to 2022, foreign direct investments in country's economy amounted to $100.7 billion. Various measures are taken in the country to increase attractiveness of the investment climate. The principle of one-stop shop is applied to foreign investors, and they are supported in various directions. A strategy is also being developed to stimulate FDIs," the minister said.
