Azerbaijan sharply increases crude oil exports to these countries

October 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has sharply increased oil exports to Germany, Türkiye, France and Greece in the first three quarters of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Customs Committee, in the first three quarters of 2023, 843,140 tons of oil for $528.7 million were exported from the country to Germany. The volume of exports grew by 140% compared to the previous year. 

Exports to France this year increased 4.3-fold versus the first three quarters of 2022 up to 199,010 tons for $118.6 million.

The exports to Türkiye tripled compared with 2022 up to 1.109 million tons for $627.02 million.
The volume of oil exported to Greece reached 656,520 barrels a year for $403.27 million, which is 2.6-fold more against the same period of 2022.
In the first three months of 2023, Azerbaijan sold abroad 19.876 million tons of crude oil (for $12.13 billion).
