October 18, Fineko/abc.az. It is possible to manufacture civilian unmanned aerial vehicles.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the new Draft Law on Aviation, discussed at today’s meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

Under the Draft, a civilian unmanned aerial vehicle is designed and manufactured taking into account the following requirements:
- to ensure the safety of the participant in the operation of UAV systems, persons who are not participants in the operation of UAV systems in the air and on the ground, including property;
- demonstrate stability proportional to the risks that may arise in any flight conditions;
- under any operating conditions, as well as in the event of a malfunction in one or more systems, to be able to safely control and maneuverability;

The operation of the civil UAV system is carried out through the e-portal of the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.
