October 4, Fineko/abc.az. The issue of building a common agricultural insurance system between the Turkic states is under discussion.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture that Osman Yildiz, the chairman of board of the Turkish Agricultural Insurance Association (TARSIM), stated about this at a meeting with Fuad Sadigov, the chairman of board at the Azerbaijan Agricultural Insurance Fund (ASF).

Yildiz says that it will already be possible to use Azerbaijan's experience in applying the mechanism of agricultural insurance in other countries.

Recalling that in 2022 ASF made insurance payments for AZN 2.4 million, Fund’s chair pointed out noted that in 2023 the number of insured events has increased dramatically and the amount of insurance payments will increase accordingly.
