September 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices (tariffs) for goods, works and services of subjects of natural monopolies are determined in accordance with the Law on Natural Monopolies.

This is reflected in the new Draft Law on Energy, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology.

When determining regulated prices (tariffs), the need to pay the cost of the relevant goods, works and services, income generation by energy entities supplying these goods, works and services, reimbursement of costs for maintenance, renovation, restoration of energy facilities and protection of the interests of energy consumers is taken into account. With the exception of regulated prices (tariffs) in the field of energy, other prices are set freely by energy entities.
