The price of November futures for Brent crude on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.20 (0.23%) by 09:30 to $87.03 per barrel. As a result of trading on August 31, Brent oil futures for November rose by $1.59 (1.87%) to $86.83 per barrel.
The cost of WTI oil futures for October in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:30 rose by $0.15 (0.18%) to $83.78 per barrel. As a result of trading on August 31, the price of the October futures for WTI oil rose by $2.00 (2.45%) to $83.63 per barrel.
