August 28, Fineko/abc.az. The outlook of German exporters of the market dynamics of the European economy remains pessimistic.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the data published by the Economic Research Institute (IFO), the IFO export expectations index decreased from -6.0 points in the previous month to -6.3 points from a revised value of -5.9 points.

Thus, over the past 4 months, there has been a decline in the index.

“German exporters continue to struggle with weak global demand. More and more companies are complaining about their inability to compete globally,” said Klaus Wohlrab, head of research at IFO.

The index reached its highest level in January 2011 at 26.2 and its lowest at 49.6 in April 2020.
