In January-July, 23.76 million tons of oil were transported through the main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 76.3% of transportation was carried out through the main export oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), and in January-July this year, 17.615 million tons of oil were transported through this pipeline.

Over the period, 83.5%, or 14.706 million tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline, were extracted in Azerbaijan, and 16.5%, or 2.908 million tons were the oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
