Azerbaijan Sugar Production Association LLC (Imishli Sugar Production Plant), owned by Azersun Holding LLC, decided to raise prices for sugar beet supplies from farmers on the eve of harvest.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture that in the economic year of 2023/2024, the purchase prices for sugar beet, which will be accepted for the winter and summer season, increased by AZN 4 per ton year-on-year in accordance with the percentage of sugar content.

So, the purchase price for 1 ton of sugar beet has been increased on average from AZN 65 to AZN 69 with a sugar content of 12%; from AZN 68 to AZN 72 with a sugar content of 13%; from AZN 73 to AZN 77 with a sugar content of 14%; from AZN 77 to AZN 81 with a sugar content of 15% and from AZN 81 to AZN 85 with a sugar content of 16%.
