July 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's recent adoption of important steps for international carriers has increased our transit attractiveness.

ABC.AZ reports that ABADA Acting Secretary General Kenan Gurbanov stated about this at the reporting event of the organization. Speaking about the fact that these measures consist in reducing and easing the tax burden of carriers, Gurbanov noted that from now on the transit opportunities of our country have expanded even more.

He noted that along with this, the issue of permits was resolved.

"In March and April, certain steps were taken for the convenient movement of our carriers. Thus, more favorable conditions have been created for our carriers. The number of trucks of Azerbaijan participating in international transportation has more than doubled. Starting next month, ABADA will travel to the regions, hold meetings and begin to study the problem on the spot. Most of our carriers are located in the Lankaran-Astara, Ganja-Kazakh zone."
