July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Google has increased the cost of a YouTube Premium subscription to $13.99 per month ($2 more than the previous price).

The annual subscription price has been increased by $20 to $139.99 a year. The corresponding notification is published on the support page of the service.

The cost of using the YouTube Music service, available as a separate offer or as part of a YouTube Premium subscription, has also increased. To interact with it, you will now have to pay $10.99 per month.

Previously, price increases were recorded in other music services, including Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal. At that, Spotify continues to maintain the same price level and charge users $9.99 per month. However, Spotify's management has already stated its readiness to raise prices, so this may happen soon.

At the moment, it is unknown when the price increase on YouTube Premium will affect existing subscribers.
