July 19, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's withdrawal from the agreement allowing the export of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea reignites concerns about global food security, which also affects commodity prices.
ABC.AZ reports that at about 14:30 on Baku time, the futures price for one bushel of wheat increased by 25 cents, or 4%, to $6.99. One bushel is 27.216 kg, which means that the price is 26 cents/kg.
Current wheat prices are the highest in the last three weeks.
Corn futures rose to $5.26 per bushel, and soybean futures rose to $13.89.
