Germany imported nuts from Azerbaijan for €1.019 million for May

July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Germany imported 192 tons of peeled hazelnuts for €1.019 million from Azerbaijan in May 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Destatis).

Compared with May 2022, the import of peeled hazelnuts to Germany from Azerbaijan in May 2023 decreased in physical terms by 3.1 times and in monetary terms by 3.4 times.

In general, for Jan-May Azerbaijan exported 2,428 tons of hazelnuts to Germany (+1.7-fold) for €13.1 million (+1.6-fold).
