Oil keeps on rising in price, and Brent is at $80.39 a barrel

July 13, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are growing in Thursday’s trading after a rise in the previous session, caused by a fall in the dollar. The ICE index, which shows the dynamics of the dollar relative to the six major world currencies, collapsed by 1.2% on the eve, updating the minimum for more than a year.

The price of September Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.28 (0.35%) to $80.39 per barrel by 09:31. Following the results of trading on July 12, Brent crude futures for September rose by $0.71 (0.89%) to $80.11 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for August on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:31 increased by $0.20 (0.26%) to $75.95 per barrel. Following the results of trading on July 12, the price of WTI oil futures for August rose by $0.92 (1.23%) to $75.75 per barrel.
