July 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2023, industrial enterprises and private entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan produced industrial output for AZN 34.7 bn, or 1.6% less against Jan-Jun 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that production in the oil & gas sector decreased by 2.3% and in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 6.5% in the first half of 2023.

69.5% of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 25.3% - in the processing sector, 4.4% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 0.8% in the water supply, waste treatment and recycling sector.

In the mining sector, commercial oil production fell by 7.7%, while commercial gas production grew by 3.2%.

In the sector of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, production volumes increased by 3.6%, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and recycling by 17%.
