July 11, Fineko/abc.az. WhatsApp messenger will have a new feature that will allow you to link new devices to an account using a phone number.

ABC.AZ reports that messenger developers have simplified the process of linking new devices with a WhatsApp account.

Thanks to the new option, users will be able to link their account to WhatsApp Web without a QR code - using their phone number and a one-time code.

To use the new feature, you will need to select the "Link with phone number" option when logging into your account via a computer or laptop.

"For many years, some users could not use WhatsApp Web, because, for example, the camera did not work on their devices, and they could not scan the QR code," the portal experts wrote.
