July 5, Fineko/abc.az. On the eve of the 7th anniversary of the beginning of activity of AzerGold CJSC, total sales revenues exceeded AZN 1.28 bn, ABC.AZ reports, quoting AzerGold chairman of board Zakir Ibragimov.

He said that AZN 990 million of sales revenues accounts for export earnings.

Thus, as a result of company’s successful activity, 358,000 ounces of gold and 712,000 ounces of silver were directed for export.

In addition to exports, over the past period, in order to develop the local jewelry market, more than 11,000 ounces of gold and 76,000 ounces of silver were directed to the domestic market.

In addition, about AZN 119 million in taxes were paid to the state during this period.

Payments to the State Social Protection Fund amounted to about AZN 17 million, which totals AZN 136 million.
