June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Further strengthening of our army remains the number one task.

ABC.AZ reports that President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said this on June 23 at the ceremony of presenting the Battle Banner to one of the military units of the commando of the Ministry of Defense.

Noting that all-round measures are being taken for this, the head of state stressed:

"After the Patriotic War, the process of purchasing new weapons continues and many contracts have already been signed – both for the supply of new unmanned aerial vehicles to our country and long-range missiles with great destructive power and high accuracy."
