June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2023, 1.132 million tons of cargo for $736.87 million were shipped by sea in Azerbaijan (93.9% and 4-fold more against Jan-May 2022), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Also, 30,484 tons of cargo for $66.5 million were exported by sea, 1.102 million tons of cargo for $670.82 million were imported for Jan-May 2023.

This year, the value of exported cargo has tripled and the volume grew by 23%, and cost of imported cargo increased by 87.1% and the volume by 4.2 times.
