June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 450,152 tons of wheat for $134,904 for Jan-May 2023 (against 355,625 tons for $124,049 for Jan-May 2022), ABC.AZ was informed at the State Customs Committee.

Wheat imports increased by 25.6% or 94,527 tons in volume terms and by 8.8% or $10.85 million in monetary terms.

The import prices for wheat decreased by 14% for Jan-May 2023 versus the same term of 2022.
