June 14, Fineko/abc.az. It was announced, on which products the buyers mainly spent their money in the retail chain for Jan-May 2023 in Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that 52.9% of finances spent by buyers on purchased goods were foods, 4.7% - beverages and tobacco products, 12.7% - textiles, clothing and footwear, 5.7% - motor gasoline and diesel fuel, 4.4% - electrical goods and furniture, 2.5% - pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, 1.0% - computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products, and 16.1% - other non-food products.
Over Jan-May 2023, products for AZN 20.8 bn were sold to consumers in the retail trade network.
