SOFAZ income from Shah Deniz grew by 78% this year

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) from the sale of profitable gas and condensate extracted from Shah Deniz field reached $935.754 million for Jan-May 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to SOFAZ that the indicator is $409.217 million, or 77.7% more versus Jan-May 2022.

At that, revenues from the sale of condensate amounted to $197.763 million (36.8% more than last year). Revenues from gas sales totaled $737.991 million (a rise of 1.9-fold compared with last year).
