Fines of joint-stock companies reduced

June 6, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the Central Bank, based on decisions received from the courts, drew up 43 protocols on joint-stock companies and imposed fines in the amount of 41,500 manats(8 protocols and 14,700 manats less than in 2021), ABC.AZ was informed at the CBA.

"The opportunities for investors to apply to the Central Bank are expanding, meetings are held with shareholders on the problems they face, they are heard. In case of detection of violations of the Central Bank by studying the appeals received from investors about violations, legal measures are taken to restore these rights. Thus, when companies identify violations of the rights and interests of citizens protected by law, mandatory instructions for elimination of violations are sent to these entities. In case of detected violations containing administrative offenses, the collected materials are sent to the courts in order to bring them to administrative responsibility by drawing up a protocol on an administrative offense against companies," the Central Bank said.
