May 24, Fineko/abc.az. State Budget expenditures for social purposes have increased by AZN 4.4 bn over the past 5 years.

ABC.AZ reports that Tayir Mirkishili, chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, said this at today's meeting of the committee during the discussion of the Draft Law on the Execution of the State Budget for 2022.

He said that last year 36.1% of expenditures or AZN 11.576 bn were of a social nature, which is AZN 1.28 bn or 12.4% more than in the previous year.

"Compared with 2018, State Budget expenditures for social purposes increased by 4.4 percentage points, that is, by AZN 4.38 bn or 1.6-fold," the MP said.
