Cost of oil goes down, and Brent is at $74.89 a barrel

May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Monday’s trading after rising last week.

The price of July Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange by 09:22 am decreased by $0.69 (0.88%) to $74.89 per barrel. Following the trading on May 19, Brent crude futures for July fell by $0.28 (0.37%) to $75.58 per barrel.

The price of WTI oil futures for July on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:24 am fell by $0.68 (0.95%) to $71.01 per barrel. Following the trading on May 19, the price of July WTI oil futures dropped by $0.25 (0.35%) to $71.69 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil grew by 1.90% and WTI oil by 2.39%.
