May 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee announced the number of automobiles manufactured in the country for the past 4 months.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan produced 145 trucks for Jan-Apr 2023 (a rise of 52.6%).

There are 9 trucks in warehouses as of May 1, 2023. No trucks were produced in April.

Azerbaijan is numbering three car manufacturing plants currently: in Neftchala, Ganja, Hajikabul and Nakhchivan. At that, the plant in Ganja is also engaged in the production of agricultural machinery.

In the medium-term prospect, the car production in Azerbaijan should reach 5,000 vehicles a year.

The production of automobiles in Azerbaijan in 2022 reached 2,049 cars (1.4% less than in 2021).
