May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Monday’s trading after decline following the past week.

The price of July Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.39 (0.52%) to $75.69 per barrel by 09:20 am. Following the trading on May 5, Brent crude futures for July rose by $2.80 (3.86%) to $75.30 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for June on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:20 am increased by $0.42 (0.59%) to $71.76 per barrel. Following the trading on May 5, the price of June WTI oil futures grew by $2.78 (4.05%) to $71.34 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil fell by 6.26% and WTI oil by 7.09%.
