May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is a country with rapidly developing economy.

ABC.AZ reports that president’s aide Natig Amirov said this during an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

He added that this is confirmed by such indicators as the growth of the nominal GDP of the country over the past 20 years by 22 times – up to AZN 133.8 bn.

"In addition, over the same period, incomes of the country's population increased by 13.7 times, and strategic foreign exchange reserves more than 41-fold against 2003 - from $1.6 bn in 2003 to $65.9 bn for 2023," he said.

Amirov emphasized that the banking sector of Azerbaijan also shows dynamic growth from year to year.
