May 3, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are declining in Wednesday’s trading after a sharp drop the day before.

The price of July Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange by 09:35 am decreased by $0.07 (0.09%) to $75.25 per barrel. Following the trading on May 2, Brent crude futures for July fell in price by $3.99 (5.03%), to $75.32 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for June on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:35 am declined by $0.12 (0.17%), to $71.54 per barrel. Following the trading on May 2, the price of June WTI oil futures slumped by $4.00 (5.29%), to $71.66 per barrel.

Both brands ended trading at the lowest level since March 24.
